Each HAYDS journal is made by hand in Franklin, Tennessee using carefully selected leather hides. No two journals are ever exactly alike. Choose your size, leather, and details, and I'll create a one-of-one piece designed to be carried, written in, and lived with for years to come.
Made-to-Order Description
Every HAYDS journal begins with a unique hide, which means every piece carries its own character, texture, markings, and natural variations.
When you place a made-to-order request, you're selecting the foundation of your journal—but the final piece will always be one of one. No two hides are identical, and the exact placement of markings, wrinkles, grain, and hair patterns will vary from journal to journal.
The photos shown throughout this section are examples of previous work and are intended to demonstrate style, construction, and available options. Your journal will be uniquely yours and will not be an exact replica of any photographed piece.
Each journal is cut, assembled, finished, and branded by hand in Franklin, Tennessee.

Production Time
Made-to-order pieces are typically completed within 2–4 weeks.
Handmade Variations
Because every journal is handmade and created from natural leather, variations should be expected and celebrated. These may include:

Due to the personalized and handmade nature of each piece, HAYDS does not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds on made-to-order journals once production has begun. Please review all selections carefully before placing your order.
